YOCISCO is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients. YOCISCO recognizes the interest of its clients in the confidentiality of their personal information. YOCISCO only maintains personal information that is relevant to providing services to its clients, and seeks to maintain accurate, complete and timely information.
The security of personal information is important to YOCISCO. YOCISCO maintains all personal data with technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect against loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, modification, improper disclosure.
YOCISCO maintains member databases that contain mailing, billing and other client profile information, as well as a record of each client’s product and services requests. The information in these databases is used by authorized YOCISCO staff members to process requests; mail invoices, renewal notices, newsletters and announcements; respond to client inquiries; and help us improve our offerings. Client records are maintained as long as a client maintains an ongoing relationship with YOCISCO and for three years following the last service request. Purchase records are retained for as long as appropriate to meet contractual, tax and auditing needs.
All personally identifiable information contained in YOCISCO client, purchase and registration databases is treated as confidential and will be used only for the purposes stated in this policy except where required by law. Just like any record keeper, YOCISCO may be required to disclose personal information in response to a valid legal process. This includes a search warrant, subpoena, or court order. Disclosures may also be appropriate to protect YOCISCO’s legal rights, or during emergencies if physical safety is believed to be at risk. These disclosures are possible, although highly unlikely.
